Are these normal, or potentially ant bites or worse?

Hi there,
I noticed these red marks on my beardies head and some on his back and I was curious what people think they are. He’s had similar marks before from eating fruits and peppers but he hasn’t had those recently. I’ve had an ant problem in my house, however have only ever had to pull 1 or 2 out of his tank. He also recently was relocated between houses so was a little stressed and lethargic for a little, which makes me worried that the ants could’ve been biting him.

Thank you!

Could be mites or ants -- lets see what AHBD thinks

Hello,

That is interesting. I don't think that is mites, but you could put some olive or coconut oil, on it to see if it is a mite. If
it's a mite then it will try to surface if covered with oil. Or
you can bathe him to see if they come off that way.
Are you seeing ants in his tank thus far?

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
