Hi I have a 17 inch BEARDIE and right now he's in a 40 gallon but I just wanted to know is there any larger tanks, because when I went to petsmart they didn't have any. I think a good size for him is a 60 g so he's not squeezing through tight space between basking spot and other decor water bowl and food bowl.
Thanks
There aren't many readily available that are larger than a 40g breeder without sacrificing width (aquariums tend to be fairly narrow). Your best bet for a larger tank is to build one. There are several ways to do this. You could repurpose a piece of furniture or you could build one from scratch like this https://beardies.dreamwidth.org/2145.html
If you aren't good at building things (like myself) you could order a custom or reptile specific enclosure. There are several options for this such as showcasecages and beegerboxes. They are very nice but a more expensive option.
