Another veggie strike? Shed?

So it seems Kai is on another veggie strike ugh. Or maybe its just shed. He ate nothing yesterday despite having a full salad in front of him. And now he will not get any bugs until Saturday, because we are going out of town overnight (Ill give him a fresh salad before we go of course). Hopefully he will eat some of it! He just acts so blah on non-bug days.

Ya, i was going to break down and give him a hornworm but they make his poop a little loose and I dont want him to poop while we are gone so its veggues only till we get back. (He did have 4 adult roaches and one hornworm on wednesday and pooped wednesday so he should be good)

He got some of his own beard shed off but the rest is dangling away lol, still attached in a spot or two. Here he is in his "begging for bugs" spot.

Beardies hate veggies and will take bugs over them any day. They eat veggies to shut us up but if they are hungry, they'll eat it. I waste salad,, well I give it to the bugs....I waste salad daily but they have to have it as an option.
Ruby gives in because he's greedy. Rocky can hold out for days but when I leave the room, he eats. He did that as a baby too.
If I hand feed him, he'll eat 1 leaf.

Yes! Kai will not eat veggies in front of me and I am positive he wants to let me know that veggies are inferior to bugs and doesnt want me to think that they are an acceptable meal! Ive caught him at the veggie dish many times, and some are usually gone.

Lucy and Stumpy are the only ones of mine that will eat greens if I watch. The others refuse

With Atticus he only eats them in front of me if I am recording it’s like he likes to show off. Also, I give veggies in the morning and he knows that he needs to eat some of the veggies or no bugs.
