Well......I've been keeping and breeding reptiles for quite some time now and I'm still making mistakes. It seems I make mistakes, learn from them, and then make all new ones
Meet baby number two.
Somehow, when I found the last baby, I dug up an egg and assumed it was the sibling. Today when I was digging up a clutch, I found another baby in with the adults! It is the same size as the first baby so I'm assuming its the sibling. I found an old egg that didn't make it near where I found the first egg (which I thought was the sibling). I found a couple pipped eggs somewhere else. I turned over all the dirt in the enclosure to make sure there was no other eggs and I can say with confidence that there isn't.
Now I have two babies that I didn't want. If they turn out to be 1.1 or 0.2 I'll move the adults in to a 40 breeder and put the babies with them (when they get a little bigger). If its 2.0, then I'll give them away. "sigh".....
