If you using Coco peat get it from a pet store, so its petsafe. A big storage container maybe a 30-40 gallon should be more than confortable. The nesting box substrate should be 7-10 inches deep. You can get vermiculite or perlite at a Garden store. Do you know how to setting up the lay box?

You want to have a large enough lay box to where she can go in and out with no problem and wide enough so she can turn around. Also deep enough. a good size box.
You dont need the lay box yet. You'll need it when she starts digging like crazy in her cage. She should lay that same day or the next. My female laid 4 today, she's digging like crazy in her lay box.
