Hi!
A few weeks ago a thread about an UVB tube turned into a thorough talk about my soon to be second beardie, now named Sirius. To summarize, Sirius is a runt of a pretty big clutch - He was bullied by his bigger siblings and was set to be put down - due to seller predicting he would not sell, with significant damages to toes and tail - but i asked the breeder to sell him to me. I had my own fears seeing him, but had never dealt with tailrot before, so I initially listened when the breeder told me he was fine - Until i posted pictures here and people voiced concerns about the injuries, and told me that he was in great risk of infection. Concerns and tips were forwarded to the breeder, but they insisted tailrot was not present, and to put how that went short - I had to retract those advances, and just hope for the best.
A while ago I went and helped the breeder divide the babies, so Sirius is now housed with just half of his clutch. He is still doing ok. The earliest breeder will give him up is end of this month. But I wanted to update you guys. I want to tell someone who gets it. I love this little baby.
