Yes, Bentley is 100% Pomeranian. And 100% slob. He IS very sweet, and uncharacteristically laid-back for being a Pom.

How long has Myah been conked out for?
I've always loved the look of a Pom, but again it was their energy level that kept me away. Glad you found a calmer one, Bentley must be 1 in a 1000,000! :D
Myah has been slowing down for a few weeks. Not eating, (her nose is stained pink from the Acidophuius+ as it's just about all she'll take in.) She doesn't want to be held most days and if I do take her out (Huffing and puffing) she look at me like "Jerk!" and then snuggle into me and sleep in a matter of minutes. Today is the first day, I've left off the lights as I'm home sick :( She hasn't budged. And of course she'd sleep all today, I just got her new flooring! It's a spin on repti carpet, but much nicer and I really wanted to try it. Maybe she'll wake up later to day so I can get a pic. Figures! :?

Holy Beardie Stella is a beautiful grown lady! She looks great, I am so happy the coccida is gone, what a relief for you! I do hate the winter slow down, Chloe is going through that a bit. Some days she eats normal, and others she doesn't really want to. I miss Sunny so much. On Saturdays she gets her weekly bath, well this past weekend I thought after her bath she'd snuggle with me for a bit and stay awake for a couple hours at least. She was so excited to see me when I woke her, she wore her bright happy colors the entire time. After her bath I had her snuggled in a towel on my lap, I put her down for two seconds, when I came back she had turned around so she was hidden from the light in the towel and sound asleep :banghead: Little stinker, I put her on the warm side of her cage, and she literally ran in to her cave! Anyway It's interesting how the beardies become finicky eaters in the winter. I think it's even weirder they slow down in the winter in AZ Dooter. I mean it's 93 degrees out during the day still, that's summer temps for some states! Hopefully Stella won't go to sleep and stay up for you.. I can't get over how big she looks now just from that picture. I need to see her in person, I wonder if she'd remember us? She seemed happy here. My favorite picture is the two of them waving at one another. I wonder if Stella and Chloe would get along? They could have play dates!! :blob5: :blob8: :laughing6:

Ugh, yes it does suck. All of a sudden you have little snoring rocks for a few months instead of dragons. Its so hard to accept that what they are doing is normal and natural - I worried so hard with my other 2 every year! I should know what to expect by now, but I still get panicky as Stella slows down for the winter.

That thought crossed my mind too - its still hot out here, and they still figure its time to slow down. Why? You'd think they'd hold out until it actually gets cooler out here.

All Phoenix Metro Area Beardies: "Ooop, it's Oct 1st. Time to crash! Nevermind that it's still 9 million degrees out, it's TIME."

Aww, I can't wait to see Sunny again! She's such a sweetie! She sounds a lot like Stella - I call Stella my "delicate little flower"  Seriously, she's just so sweet - not a mean bone in her body, and she's SO EMOTIONAL. Any little change in routine will ruin her day, and she makes it so obvious if she is distraught. But I can always count on her for a good snuggle any time. I love when she's snuggled up on my shoulder and I can feel her little beard on my neck and I know she's sound asleep. :love5:

Michelle,
I had seen your posts in various threads before, especially Kaleens. But I had never come across YOUR thread. So I decided to go look for it, and I'm glad that I did. Stella is beautiful! And so spoiled rotten. I love this site, nowhere else can I find people so head over heels crazy about their beardies as I am.

Apparently my daughter was eating a box of grape-flavored Nerd candies yesterday (YAY Halloween!) and she dumped the box on the carpet.

She did not tell me this happened, and she decided to pick them all up one-by-one (she knows leaving anything out on the livingroom carpet is a BIG no-no, mostly because we let Stella run around the house a lot).

Well, of course she didn't pick all of them up (if she would have just told me, I would have vacuumed them up! :banghead: ), and while I was sitting on the couch with my laptop yesterday, I heard rather loud *chomp-chomp-crunch* come from the side of the room and see Stella in the act of swollowing something, and excitedly looking for more of whatever it was. I ran over and saw the Nerds fallout on the floor. SHE ATE A NERD!!! AND LIKED IT!

Part of me thought it was funny and cute, but of course I'm worried... Do you think it'll hurt her? She had one.

Aw, thank you! YES, she is very spoiled! She is definitely part of the family - we love her like a child! :love5:

I don't think it will hurt her. We've known people whose dragons have eaten chocolate and been just fine. You can always be the worried mama and encourage it to pass by giving and oil/apple sauce mix or some canned pumpkin, or even just a little olive oil in a syringe, it could 'ease' it through her system. Really, I think that is overkill! Maybe others have specific NERD experience.

It is good to read that Stella's coccidia is gone. She looks so pretty on the couch and super yellow, too!

Aw, I wouldn't worry about that. Maybe if it were a whole box! I think it's cute. Myah is so FUSSY! Like oh, my gosh fussy! She eats 2 types of greens, worms and ya, that's it. No carrots, no peppers, no dandelion greens! Collards and Endive only  I was so desperate for another option that I researched Tofu (with Tracie's help) It is our opinion organic Tofu is "Safe" for a non breeding female. I'll test her on it once she's awake! :D Sweet-tooth Stella!

Yeah, I think I'm just going to let it run its course. Seriously, god knows what else she's eaten that I haven't caught.

I'm a floor-nazi in my house BECAUSE she likes to "hunt" stuff down when she's out. I'm really hyper about the floor being clean because of her. She's eaten dog food out of the dog's bowl, that I know for sure. If we've ever had rogue roaches or crickets, she has definitely caught them, because I never see them. I had to slide her fat butt out from under the refrigerator by the tail a couple weeks ago, because she was after something under there.

I've actually got a funny story that happened about 15 years ago with my first dragons, Gizmo and Gidgit.

I just got home from buying a WHOLE BUNCH of crickets (probably about 150-200 of them) and I was in this room we had - I guess it was like a utility room/mud room - and I was going to transfer the crickets into the plastic bin.

I fumbled the bag and crickets hit the floor and went everywhere. EVERYWHERE.

I panicked and ran out of the room and shut the door. How in the hell was I going to clean them all up?!?

Lightbulb moment: I dug both of the dragons out and turned them loose in the utility room and let that little problem solve itself. Those 2 were in there for a good hour, hunting their little hearts out. I don't think they got them all, but they certainly got most of them.

Ah yes - while Stella is an opportunistic hunter, she is EXTREMELY picky about what is served to her in a bowl. Like Myah, collards are really the only green I can count on her eating. She also loves the hell out of squash and strawberries. But anything else is usually ignored at best, flung all over the floor at worst.

I'm going to try to get some pics of her this weekend!

Sounds like you have a spiny vacuum cleaner..LOL!! I can picture you, dragging her out from under the refrigerator...priceless. So glad that she is back to normal. It will be interesting to see what NERD poop looks like...keep us posted. :D

That's funny! Our Tortoises are like that. Anything and everything on the floor they will eat! Even toes if they are painted. The dragons not so much. Tazz tried to eat the carpet once though. I think she thought it was little wormies. Silly girl.

Aww sweet tooth Stella!! I can just picture her enjoying that purple Nerd, she probably savored every bite!! :laughing6: :laughing6: I can just picture you pulling her out from under the fridge, her fighting you every inch of the way. I think she'll be just fine, but she's definitely going to try to eat everything that is purple in hopes of it being another Nerd!

Daddy bought her a butternut squash from the grocery store this morning - she ate so much of it! I usually will cook it until its soft, let it cool, and then hand-feed her chunks of it - she loves it so much! ...not as much as she loves Nerds, but still...

Swordtail has been doing a whole lot of "Lizard yoga" lately
Currently trying not to stress over my anemic dragon....she is being treated, but I don't agree with her treatment plan and have been seeking out a second opinion from another vet. If anyone else has dealt with anemia, please let me know how it was resolved. I am losing sleep over this
Another post lol. My beardie does not like enclosures. Her tank is the kids room and she has created a nesting/bed spot in the corner. She will cuddle with my son but she know when the lights are out and the kids go to sleep, she literally goes to her bed like she is our 3rd baby. I love her. And to think, I never wanted a beardie lol
Please help. My beardie is my baby and I am worried she may be egg bound but I can't tell. She is over 2 yrs old and has never laid an egg. She has been swollen for two days and can't tell if she may be impacted or egg bound. Please help.
I'm still looking to adopt. I live near Homerville Georgia.
