Between last night and her feeding this morning, she has been quite the little piggy. Haha. And VERY active considering how she was acting. I couldn't be happier.
That is so wonderful to hear! Sometimes the stories don't end well, so I'm glad we were all able to help. The people on this forum saved my girl's life. I never would've known what to do without them. There is too much incorrect information floating around, especially coming from chain pet stores (especially Petco, in my experience), so we have to continue sharing proper care with each other! Your little one looks SO much healthier and happier in the second photo!
She is doing so much better and SO much more active.
Today, my dogs finally noticed her in her tank; my bigger one kept going over and sitting in front of her tank, just watching, and she just watched him, both turning their heads from one side to the other. As I was playing with Spike a little while later, my German Shepard mix decided he wanted to investigate. Needless to say, he sniffed her a good bit and in return, Xander got a tiny lick on the nose from Spike. (I had her in my hands the whole time, keeping a watchful eye.) It was quite cute. My other dog, a Beagle mix, however, wants NOTHING to do with Spike and runs to the other room.
Spike's new climbing 'gym' (that is only part of it in the picture). I actually had to take her rock away from her. She would use it for a few minutes every morning, basking, but then once again would go and hide under it. Now I am only giving it back at night time when I turn her light off as she loves sleeping under it.
She also has a vet appointment on Tuesday just to have her checked out and make sure she doesn't have any parasites. She ended up with diarrhea yesterday that smelled HORRIBLE, but the vet said it was probably from switching her from crickets to BSFL (Her poop was normal the 2 times she went today though). She has lost interest in crickets and now is becoming difficult with eating BSFL; so, I ordered some small dubia roaches that should be here by Monday.
(Her activity level has increased a little bit more and she is quite lively, but loves to have some cuddles before bed.) Other than the few changes and a vet check on Tuesday, she is still doing great! <3
My girl is much the same! Although right now, she is crabby as all hell and super lazy because she's in the midst of a shed. I'm so glad to hear your little one is doing better!
