My bearded dragon is around three months old and I find that it eats too much crickets for it size. I feed it twice a day (one time in the morning and another time around five o clock). Each time I feed it, it ate around eight crickets. So in total in a day, it eats around sixteen crickets and an hour later it acts like it<s still hungry and always want more.
My question is: At this age, is it normal to be hungry after sixteen crickets a day?
16 isn't a lot if they are appropriately sized smaller than the gap between his eyes. I think you'll find their appetites fluctuate so as mentioned, offer more by time rather than count. Just let him have as many as he wants in a 10-15min window or until he loses interest. Sometimes he will eat a lot more than others and that's OK.
