I think I mentioned something about their tempers somewhere in this thread They bite and bark at you as a defense, but they tame well and they become just as sweet as any other lizard. With the time and patience necessary to do so, of course.
Actually I got him on the way home from the expo, haha. I always stop by the reptile company in Auburn mostly just to see all of Erics animals but sometimes I buy things haha. Ok maybe I buy something every time xD
He really is epic though When he is really jumpy I'll hold him high above my bed and he will launch himself and glide a tiny bit trying to get away from me xD He's got little flappy things under his tummy and they fan out when he's falling through the air. It's so cool
I've found Tokays at a lot of Petcos I go to, but ones that come from there are usually wild caught. As with pretty much any other reptile, it's probably better to buy from a reputable breeder blah blah so you can get a healthy captive bred one. Reptile shops have them most of the time, too(like the ones in Auburn, lol).
Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?
Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
