Out and about this morning. Ate more dandelion greens and a few roaches. Walking around you can see that stomach hanging and dragging lol
Part of the new garden setup is going to be for dandelions and carrots for both greens and roots. Good thing she's into those too lol Working on a 3d printed plant tag in Lushootseed for common plants. Dandelion being invasive does have a name in Lushootseed but it's not anything close to Dandelion. Wasdis. Literally sounds like saying "What's this?" lol Perfect name for an unknown plant you have to name when it shows up unannounced.

Alex is glass surfing heavy today. Opened the glass so she could visit with Nibbler. He's nicely sniffing her close but not too close when she stands up and licks his chin. So adorable

When she was standing up earlier I could really feel the eggs and they felt a bit more firm than before. Really hitting the glass waves today lol

Daddy, is it safe to go in now?
Took all the bark out, put all the substrate she dug out back in and moistened it. Pushed it all to the back so it's nice and deep and put some bark back in the front. A little over half full and about 6 inches deep.

The first time Ruby was, we missed the signs. We came home to eggs every where.

She does look ready to pop. Aside from being [ probably ] carrying eggs she is really overweight from her neck to her legs to her tail. It would be good to really restrict the insects, once they are this heavy it's very hard to lose the weight. All that weight will impact her health and can even make egg laying more difficult as the eggs are crowded by excess fat and it pushes against the other organs including the lungs.

Yeah, that's why I was so excited to see her demolish a bowl of dandelion greens lol She is soooo picky. She goes through spurts where she'll take greens as treats. But in the bowl she very carefully snipes her insects around the greens. She ignores the greens unless they're moving so I have been feeding with smaller roaches lately instead of trying to entice her with a couple squirmy wormies. She seems to get more greens when she grabs those as they tend to grab and hold the greens. At least she likes dandelion and clovers to some extent. The faces she makes for mustard and mint are funny.

Digging herself in after sleeping on the branch since I filled her cave back in.

Lots of out and about today loving on the cats through the glass and licking them when I open the glass lol She enjoyed playing peek a boo for awhile too

What I'm hoping lol She just crawled in for now and hasn't started digging. Ate some dandelion greens while trying to grab small roaches, but I don't think she was really hungry. She seemed happy just watching them and I kind of had to entice her and she refused when offered a roach. So at least she got some calcium dusted calcium leaves lol

If she is gravid extra calcium is a good thing, she'll need lots after.
