OG pumpkin pie. Hollow it out, 3 whole eggs, 4 yolks, half cup white sugar in the recipe was cute lol Half cup brown sugar and a 1/4 cup honey is my style. The 1/2 tablespoon vanilla was acceptable lol The cooking process involves a few steps, temp changes, covering with foil, removing etc.... but worth the work.

I went and read through the recipe, I bookmarked it. I'm for sure trying that.

Wanted to make it for Thanksgiving but the wife wanted to make a "traditional" pie herself. She's not a cook and follows instructions to the letter. No added fun lol But I got two pumpkins for that just in case and had a leftover. Was my first time making it. For the future I won't scoop the pumpkin out with the custard. Kiddo doesn't like the stringy texture of cooked squash/ pumpkin. Or blend it after. I liked it, he and the wife both have a texture thing though lol

She ate some dandelion greens today, plus a roach that was loose and thought running from me and basically into her mouth was a good idea lol Ran up the side of the digging box just to her left lol
