So awhile back i joined the forum to get help with my first beardie. Atuin turned out great. She is much better off than she was with her first parent and very happy. She like snuggles and the windowsill. We then adopted another beardie this time from a pet store. He was on sale and right out the gate fiestier than atuin. Which makes sense since atuin really just had to accept us because when we got her her condition didn't give her much opportunity to fight against us. He hissed and lunged when we opened his box but we set him up and let him acclimate to his tank. I started trying to be around him and when he didn't react too much tried to handle him. That's when I posted on here that azrael had bit me and asked if there were any special steps to take. Sense then it's been harder for me to try to take care of him sense I am scared that as he gets bigger he will bite harder. I mostly hold him when he is sleepy about thirty minutes after lights out. Any time I try to be around him during the day he goes pitch black and head bobs me and beard flares at me. I'm worried that I won't be able to tame him. I want him to bond and have an easy life like his sister but now I fear him and struggle to really help him. I am just looking for tips tricks and encouragement to get him better or I might have to find one of you all to take him so at the very least he will be well taken care of without me. And then that's probably the end of beardies for me cause I don't wanna risk another one hating me and not being able to help him.
I have checked all temps and lighting and all the necessities. He is in a perfect place considering your care sheets I just need advice getting him less aggressive.
