I've had my 4 month old beardie for 5 days. She is great at eating her greens and veggies, but absolutely refuses to eat her crickets. I ordered a batch of Reptiworms for her that were supposed to arrive this past Tuesday. However...long story short...there was a mix up, they never arrived, and are being shipped out today. So my question is, will she be okay eating just her greens and such until the worms arrive? I am worried about her not having any protein until Saturday. Any suggestions would be so appreciated.
Nooooooo. Mealworms can't be fed to your baby this young. In fact I probably won't ever feed my beardie mealworms no matter his size or age. Just my personal decision. Calci/repti/Phoenix worms are basically all the same. They're black soldier fly larvae. It's just cheaper to order them in bulk online
Make sure they're one of the worms I mentioned. Most petco stores cari calciworms in my area. Open the cony trainers first, make sure they're not flies yet! Haha! Happened to me once, wasn't pleasant
Anytime! So glad I could help! I'm by no means an expert but I've gone through a lot with my own beardie with SO much help from everyone here. Please feel free to PM me if you ever have any questions. I may not have the answer but I'll certainly try to get it for you.
