If anyone can respond to this I would GREATLY appreciate it.

My room mate found a baby lizard that is a little over an inch long in our apartment building stair well. We live in northern Virginia (USA) and it is pretty darn cold out so he brought it up to the apartment. I have no idea what to do with it now! It very closely resembles a Mediterranean House Gecko, which can be found in Virginia. Normally I would just release it outside but since it is so freezing cold I am at a loss on what to do now!
If I care for the lil guy until Spring will he be able to survive outside? After being fed by people and all? Any advice would be greatly appreciated....
Here is a photo of the lil guy. Hopefully this link will work

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
