Well my two beardies Cyrus and esme won't eat veggs so i was thinking about puree them is that ok i want to do some collard, dandelions, blueberries, squash ,apples or melons any advice plz
Have you tried different colored veggies?
How old are they?
Mine is 5 months old and likes red and yellow!
He likes red and yellow diced sweet peppers...now he'll nibble apple bits, they get kinda yellow!
He'll even eat red and yellow RepCal And Zilla beardie food....leaves the green ones behind!
He does eat his veggies, just not every day
Have you tried putting phoenix worms on top?
They'll get a bite of veggies by accident and might learn like it more.
Cyrus is about two months maybe, esme i say she a month old the breeder i got her from was feeding her romaine lettuce and i know that is not good for them so i been trying to get her and him to eat green vegs such as mustard gr,turnip gr,dandelion gr,butternyt sq, i even put blueberries an apple on top nothing don't eat them i even brought beardie bites i even tried acorn sq this time I'll put some phoenix worms in top my clock on here is wrong so right now they are slp its 1100 pm lights turn on at 7am i feed about 10-1030 am
If they're one and two months old they need much more protein than veggies. Keep a variety of veggies in their bowl every day, and don't worry about their not eating them. When they're old enough they'll get interested all on their own.
As the previous poster said, they may have favorite colors. Dubs only ate green things for a long time, (even tried to eat the green dots off the paper towel!) but now will eat dandelion flowers and squash. But Richard likes every color BUT green - the only green things he eats without being tricked is pea pods.
