Maya cannot seem to catch a break, it seems and I feel for him. He's doing well with his low platforms. Climbing up on his own. Climbing around, basking, climbing up on his hind legs. Everything going good.
So, after feeding him today, I noticed a white clump along his gumline. I thought maybe it was a buildup of calcium powder. I removed the clump, thinking it was that. He seemed fine. I'll see if another clump is there tomorrow morning. If not, I won't worry. If so, I will.
I leave his mouth alone for the most part. Only using a Betadine soaked q-tip to clean his mouth. Sometimes, not using anything and just a moist q-tip to remove greens and bee pollen left over from breakfast and dinner. I noticed a 'suspicious' red sore along the gum line. I went to see if it was bleeding. I saw some red. Used a diluted betadine solution -q-tip- to prevent any infection.
He's on Colloidal silver solution, probiotics, reptihydrate, and Silkworm Enyzme.
He hasn't eaten any roaches because I've been giving him Repashy every day to build up his muscles. So, no crunchy bugs.
He has turnip greens, bee pollen- softened in water, calcium powder with water. (Night-time feeding) Multivitamin. His food powders are watered down. He ate well this morning and this evening. So that's a good sign.
The vet will not touch his mouth because the last time he did try, Maya bit him.
