Yes, that's right. I came home from summer classes today to find a very stinky Khan clinging to his outdoor enclosure's wall and his darkest dark belly display. Now he STILL smells like dog urine and I've already bathed him. Any cleaning suggestions? I don't want him to get sick off the urine, I mean, who knows if he ingested it. *sighs*
I would try cleaning him off with a mild soap, unscented if possible. I used a Dove or Neutrogena mild soap with a toothbrush on one of mine who was caked in poop She never had any adverse effects. Just be careful you don't leave it on too long or get in in their eyes, ears, or let them lick it. Common sense stuff, you know I've never heard of anything bad happening when using soap, maybe I'm wrong so you could check around, but from experience I've done it a few times and mine are perfectly fine each time.
You could bathe him in Betadine bath, add enough to the water to make it look like weak tea, that would safely clean him. Any type of soap could remove the natural oils from his skin.
