As many of you nkow, I have a children's book company based on the life and adventures of my bearded dragon lizard, Pudgy. Pudgy passed in July, but "Pudgy and Pals' carries on. I am making an appearance at tomorrow and the gentleman who was supposed to accompany me with a bearded dragon pal of Pudgy's had to cancel . I have contacted one of my local resources and they have no adult beardies.
Does anyone have a resource at all for someone who could volunteer one hour of their time from 10:30am to 11:30am and bring a bearded dragon? Perhaps an educational reptile program? I am Googling like crazy too.
Hey, thanks so much! Yes. The co-author of The Bearded Dragon Manual actually loaned me one of his. I wanted to keep him (the kids named him Sparkles Pokie Sunshine LOL), but he is using him as a breeder. He was a hit!
Pudgy certainly had a full life. Thats great that you showed him the world other than a glass one you more than likely got a few more little bearded dragon fans that when they grow up will remember those days.
