Hi everyone i have a very handsome beardie who’s name is yoshi. I’ve noticed that he has a pimple looking bump that is close to his vent. He had a prolapse surgery bout two months ago but it looked like it was healed. He is been eating normally and all. I am super worried because i am not sure if that is a cause of it being infected or something else. I really do need some help cus it’s making me super worried.
Hm, could you possibly get a couple of pictures posted on here of that area?
It sounds like it might be some type of abscess or something. Did a cricket bite him in his
tank?
Is he housed alone or with another dragon?
If the area appears to be infected, you can get some raw, unpasteurized or manuka honey to
put on that area. Or, you can also use some antibiotic ointment, too.

Post a picture. Also can you email your vet a picture or go to vet? My first thought is a retained suture, but that is my experience with human patients. I don't know if that same symptom would apply to a lizard. I think it is worth asking the vet and get an idea of they think you need to go into the clinic or attempt treatment at home first
