hi, my beardie eggs are gunna hatch soon and i have a few questions... what should be in the bottom of the tank? how long do they need to stay in the incuator after they hatch? and how long after they hatch do i feed them?
Thanks,
Sarah
Use something such as paper towels, newspaper or shelf liner for substrate, you can leave them in the incubator upto 24hrs but i would reccomend leaving them atleast untill they have absorbed their egg sac and got completly free from the egg, you can offer food as soon as you move them to the tank and just give them some time to rest, i also have eggs hatching soon (61 days so far so excited)
Very pretty! Most will eat a day or two after they hatch! However some don't eat for a week or so! It is fine as they are still absorbing the nutrients! Also just make sure you start to feed greens now, this way you don't have trouble later in life! Good luck..
