A few moments from Foxy's life

I haven't posted photos of Foxy for a long time, so I decided to fix the situation and tell you about how we spent today.
In the morning, Foxy helped me with work, and in between, we watched what was happening on our forum.

He likes it most when photos appear on the screen.

Then, according to the plan, we had to check our garden on the windowsill, where peas and arugula grow.

Foxy warmed himself up a bit in the sun and checked his greens.

But suddenly an "unpleasant moment" happened, garden pests - roaches appeared in the greens!

Foxy had to try hard and get rid of them (by eating them).

After the garden work, we relaxed on our favorite mountain.

Today is over, Foxy got down from the mountain, which means he wants to sleep, I put him in a terrarium, where he warmed up a bit and went into his hide.

Now that is what I'd call a great and productive day 😀
Thank you for that post, as usual I'm blown away by how handsome he is.
My favorite of that series was the last one at the computer when he is looking right at the camera.

Very nice :)

We won't allow him around laptops (on the desk generally is fine when laptop is away or closed), as honestly I fear he might jump on top of the display and the display got scratched...
I'm not picky regarding scratches on anything else (furniture? as long as I can sit on that chair it's fine ;) ) but a display at which I look for >10 hours each day and couldn't get replaced here is huge no-no. Are you using any kind of screen protector or does it have a durable screen?

Tablet (screen looks more durable) is fine however :) My husband uses a tablet for reading and for the Spanish course and Taco loves it when there is sound. Taco is attracted very much to human voices and always gets very excited when people can be heard but not seen.

The sprouts are cool! I love eating them, too (I has always some at the window sill, put them on buttered bread, in salads), and I would bet Taco would love them also, but I've not found seeds for sprouting here yet. Those sprouts... Just put on my weekend to-do list to try again finding those seeds. (Have seeds for herbs but rarely anything grows. Started, as now it's spring here, four pots with 20 seeds each and have one little plant emerging after four weeks.)

Yes, I liked this photo too. And I couldn't choose the photo where he's hunting roaches. He looks focused there and there are so many emotions on his face. How can I catch him? :)

Thank you! No, my laptop screen does not have a protective film. But I am 100 percent sure that Foxy will not scratch the screen. He loves to watch. Usually I put him on my shoulder, he sits for 5 or 10 minutes, then he gets bored, he turns around and jumps on the keyboard, he will never come close to the monitor, because it is uncomfortable to watch so close. I tried to move him, forward or backward or sideways, I tell him: "Foxy, I need to work, and you press all the buttons", but he gets angry and returns to where he is sitting in the photo. I connect an external keyboard and this helps a little to solve the problem with the buttons.

Now you sound like me lol.
I never seem to have a camera when the best stuff happens and I can never seem to get the camera to see what I'm seeing.

Our neighboring store sells ready-made sets for sprouting with various greens, we often buy them and grow them for Foxy, and sometimes we bring clover bushes from our garden and they grow in our pots for a long time, then we return them back to restore and take another bush. We recently decided to grow hibiscus, it blooms very beautifully and Foxy sometimes doesn’t mind snacking on them.

It's amazing the accommodations we will make to keep our beardies happy. If I spent half as much energy on making money as I do my beardies, I'd for sure be at least the 2nd wealthiest dude around 😄

You are absolutely right, I completely agree with you. They are like little children and require constant attention, but I am glad that I work from home despite the fact that my working day can last until midnight. After all, my daily work quota must be completed in any case.😩

I saw this all the time in e.g. Germany and the US (there I always sprouted some).
Here.. haven't seen a sprouting kit, or won't even need the kit, seeds would be fine.

As I like them so much, I'll try again finding some seeds for sprouting online maybe. This "gardening stuff for plants with leaves" is usually not available here, or it is (from store chains that have the same assortment Chile-wide, so here the same as for regions with more moderate climate), but how well it then grows is another story.

Thank you! No, my laptop screen does not have a protective film. But I am 100 percent sure that Foxy will not scratch the screen.
My Taco is not a "clumsy scratcher" either :D But he loves to jump. I know him well enough that he would see something that's approx. 30 cm above another surface as something to sit on. He'd likely go up there, and then the hind feet going over the screen and... My laptop has not this glass-like surface I've sometimes seen, but more the matte screen that can easily be scratched like from a regular desktop display.
Tablet is easier; this has the usual glass-like surface, and even when he walks over it it's no issue.
He loves to watch. Usually I put him on my shoulder, he sits for 5 or 10 minutes, then he gets bored, he turns around and jumps on the keyboard
Mine also (when I'm using a PC). My husband using his tablet, Taco sits there much longer.
he will never come close to the monitor, because it is uncomfortable to watch so close.
Exactly this would be the situation where he would leave with climbing up and jumping behind. Like "I'm done, I'm going into a cave".
I tried to move him, forward or backward or sideways, I tell him: "Foxy, I need to work, and you press all the buttons", but he gets angry and returns to where he is sitting in the photo. I connect an external keyboard and this helps a little to solve the problem with the buttons.
I guess it's the warmth from the laptop coming up through the keyboard? I'm sure Taco would love sitting there.

With things like books or drawings I'm fine around him, as he won't poop outside of his enclosure. He never did. Pooping is for him "in the sand, next to exactly this stone".
When I had birds (cockatiels), it was different. Constantly looking that they're not pooping on important things that can't be cleaned, and constantly looking that they don't chew up things - means mostly not having things made of paper around when they're out.
I can really say that what I like about my beardie/ beardies from a keeper's perspective is that they don't chew on things, and that they're not pooping that often. (I've seen that from time to time somebody gets pooped on, so I won't rule out completely this might happen at some time. Also of course I'm careful that no small things that could be mistaken for food and gobbled up are around - I do scale modeling, so those things are hidden away. But still, I think, ways easier than a bird that poops each few minutes and grabs things with a beak and tears assisted by powerful neck muscles... My cockatiels for example tried removing keys from remote controls and keyboards, removing zippers from clothes, eyes from plush toys, nibbling on paper or even removing complete book pages, grabbing things and looking down happily when they fall and break... really constantly. Still loved them, they are like that and I won't blame them, but it's just more exhausting.)

but I am glad that I work from home despite the fact that my working day can last until midnight.
For me similar to some extent: Flexible hours, partially in the institute and partially at home, working day can last until close to midnight (then starting early in the morning). And it's:
After all, my daily work quota must be completed in any case.
I like the flexible hours, however, as not having to waste PTO/holidays so often for running small errands like short check-up appointment at the doctor, picking up documents somewhere, waiting for some repair guy...
And being able to avoid rush hours in stores better.

We also have a PC and the keyboard is completely cold, but he also likes to sit on it. He looks at the screen with interest, I think he is attracted by the picture he sees. I think it is similar to watching from a window. Agamas see and understand exactly what is happening and displayed on the monitor, this fact is proven by the experiment of training bearded dragons by means of videos (if you have not seen this experiment, I can look for a video). After this video, I began to approach watching videos on the computer with Foxy more consciously. I realized that he is also interested in this.

That's interesting. (Also have a PC - laptop is for work, PC is my own -, dragon isn't sitting there usually.)

I'm pretty sure. Mine likes looking out of windows, and also watches screens, like somebody using the computer for typical work, somebody watching a video, or having a video call.

Yes, I've seen that (bearded dragon trained how to open a door, then this was filmed, video was shown to other bearded dragons who repeated the action easily while others who haven't seen the videos had to figure it out on their own and didn't succeed).
And it reminds me of when I had cockatiels. I like watching documentaries, and I like reptiles... (If that's not immediately giving a hint: Me watching reptile documentaries immediately scared the birds - they have an alarm scream and raise their feather tufts. They also watched human interactions on TV, and reacted to this, so a crime thriller with people yelling or such also made them reacting to it, not as mad as the snakes or monitor lizards but clearly "there is danger around". Documentaries with more landscape scenes, or where just somebody explained something (person talking in a calm manner) resulted in a ways different reaction. After recognizing this, I also
I began to approach watching videos on the computer with Foxy more consciously.
same with the birds.)

Zsa Zsa was watching Westworld last night, and Zen would watch anything that was on.
