As far as amount of food, beardies typically won't over eat. They know when they have had enough and will stop. I have brought 1 rescue and 1 bought for breeding that wasn't handled. One is 2 years old the other 1 year. Neither where fed correctly before i got them, they both were ravenous at first. Now they are more chill and picky, they eat their feel and stop. Some days more than others. As far as the tongue i think pretty much all beardies have a 2 toned tongue. I have personally seen blueish whiteish, lighter pink. I know some others (not the pagona's have a yellow mouth)could be genetics. Try to get a pic to post, put her in her basking and wait for her to gape her mouth. If your basking in the correct temp she will eventually gape. Also you could hold a treat out of her reach, sometimes they will lead with their tongue of they really want the treat
