My son has a 7 mos. old beardie who loves loves loves to jump. Well, he was on his lap outside on our very high deck, Spike (dragons name) jumped from his lap and ran as fast as he could and jumped off the deck. Now, our deck is about 8 feet high. He landed at the bottom on all fours on the grass. He appears to be fine, but I am concerned. If he is walking ok, should I not worry?
Since he landed on the grass and he seems to be walking ok and acting normally, then he probably is fine. Just keep an eye on him for any changes in his behavior. Also you might want to get a leash for future outside excursions
I'm sure he's fine. My beardie is a little older and takes great joy out of running to the edge of our sofa and slowly sliding off, I try to stop him as much as possible but sometimes you just can't get them in time. My beardies always ok, I don't know why he enjoys the drop, I suppose i have a weird one on my hands haha
Oh my gosh do beardies love to jump!
I took Zeus outside and he started licking the rain off the grass.
I was like, "so that's how i can make him start drinking!
He's always like--
Jumping on the base of the sliding glass door and peering out. I have to find that picture...
They're just little explorers!
