on the tails regrowing.yes these are as far as i know just common inland australian bearded dragons.three have grown back tails.and one twice.the first one i sent pictures of ,u.w., had half a tail.3 months later full and natural looking tail.2 of these three never grew in 7 months beyond 10 cm.one is small but normal.bob has lost his tail twice.when it grows back there is no color or texture change.

MODERATOR NOTE: It is well documented and known that ALL Pogona species are incapable of growing their tails back when lost or damaged. This is a biological fact.

Hello,

If atl possible, try to start consolidating you information together so we can keep better track of things.
Your dragon is in serious condition & needs a lot of care. As suggested, Bearded dragons don't have
the genetic possibility of regenerating & regrowing their tails.

Hello,

That is terrific news. I hope that he is feeling better. I am happy to hear he is so active right now. Perhaps
he will still grow some if you can keep up his nutrition for him.
It sounds like he is staying warm at night also, which should keep is immune system up.

It sounds like Bob's symptoms are concerning, and given that he has experienced a significant period of lethargy, lack of eye-opening, and no growth despite eating well, there may be underlying health issues. The lethargy and eye problems could point to dehydration, a vitamin deficiency (particularly vitamin A), or potential internal parasites. The fact that he's not eating greens is also a red flag, as bearded dragons require a proper balance of greens, vegetables, and protein. For a bearded dragon at 7 months of age, the ideal feeding ratio is typically about 80% greens and vegetables, with 20% live insects, but this can vary slightly depending on the individual dragon's needs. It's critical that you get him evaluated by a reptile vet who can provide a more thorough diagnosis and recommend proper treatment, including checking for vitamin deficiencies, parasites, and other conditions that could be contributing to his symptoms. In the meantime, continue offering him a well-rounded diet, including properly gut-loaded insects and a variety of leafy greens.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
cookie event at my library today, quite fun! Made some bracelets for my comrades too, to give them at church in the morning. Got a busy day tomorrow even though I’m off work… i go back on tuesday so atleast I’ll have 2 days off to rewind….then back to hell lol
