Hi everyone! I'm new to this and a new Beardie mommy. My husband bought a new home for our beardies and Im not sure if I should get new Bulbs to accommodate the size?

Any info or tips are greatly appreciated.

Only way to know is to try :)

What are your old bulbs reading in the bigger tank?

Or are you referring to the uvb bulb?

beardies???????? Do you have more than one? It is trial and error w/ wattage--- make sure you have a Infrared heat gun to get temps or a digital probe thermometer--- the IR is the best way to get actual temps ------------

Hi! I just saw your post sorry. We figured it out and soon g well now. We bought a better thermometer and realized the tank was not hot enough and have since got everything corrected. Right now we have two beardies, same age, about 2 months. They are in a 60 gallon tank until they become a little bigger. We plan on separating them so they each have their own large enclosers.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
