Welcome! I will be posting pictures of my little buddie now as I realized I never started a thread for him and have had him 2 months! Reptar has just recently been moved to his 40gal breeder, also his final home I plan to post to the thread frequently and keep everyone updated as Reptar progresses through his life I give him baths 2-4 times a week and im not really sure if he likes them.. he kind of just sits in one spot the whole time and looks around while i drip water on his snout(if anyone has any tips on bath time and getting him more mobile PLEASE let me know!)
Second night home 6/14/11
only 5.5 inches in this one
same log, pic taken just a few minutes ago. hes twice the size he was when i got him! now nearly 11inches
his new home that he seemed so terrified of at first:
one to maybe kinda see his colors better took my little buddie out for some sun today but had to come back in due to the sound of different bugs and birds.. reptars kind of a fraidy cat Lol!
also whats the best website online to buy crickets/dubias?
heeeellooooo stick
also, my sister thought it would be funny to "draw" Reptar on his cage :|
Today i tried for the first time feeding Reptar bananas&blueberries. He licked them if i rubbed them on his snout but wouldnt actually bite them.. hmmm
thanks for all of the kind comments!
well.. i was letting the little booger run around a bit and explore.... he decided he would repay me by relieving himself on my foot  luckily i had a towel nearby and quickly&carefully moved him to it so he could finish. im including a pic of it because lately his urate is like a half yellowy color? any idea why? i read it may be too much calcium intake so i have been dusting less of his crickets and it has gotten a little lighter. any other ideas?
exploring the room:
also, i just found a couple of old pics that i think deserve to be on this thread
