My bearded is a little over 12 years old. Over the last month or so he has been falling off his basking areas and landing upside down. Think he’s just getting older and cannot make the climb up/down like he used to. I’ve changed his lights and increased calcium intake to be on the safe side. Thinking about getting rid of current basking areas and making wide low angled ramps instead. Anyone else run into this problem and find a solution? He is not a fan of tank changes but I don’t want him to get hurt either. Thanks for the help!
I agree if you can make some ramps that are flat and wide so he is not falling off that would be awesome-- sounds like hes getting old -- a senior reptile now -- some others can weigh in on ideas as well

I agree, at his age, making his basking & UVB areas easier to get to so that he doesn't have
to climb too much would be really helpful for him. That way if he does have any calcium type
of issues it will decrease his chances of hurting himself by falling, etc.
Which UVB are you using currently?
