Hi everyone. I have 3 beardies. A 3 year old, a 1 1/2 year old, and a 10 week old. My question is about my 1 1/2 wear old, Sandstorm. She is only 11 inches and is fairly slender. She’s active (lazy but active), and eats her salad and bugs (Dubai’s) every day. All of her lighting and heat is proper. I have had her about 6 months, and she has not gotten any larger. The previous owner didn’t really handle her because she didn’t like being handled and would bite. I don’t have as much trouble picking her up, though she isn’t happy. So is there any reason that she would be so small, but otherwise, healthy.
Some of them are larger than others. If she is active and happy it's probably not cause for concern. It could be genetics or improper diet as she was growing. At that age she could still grow a bit more but probably won't become much larger but that's OK if all else is well.
