    Eyes

A puffy eye is usually nothing to worry about. Beardies bulge their eyes out to stretch the skin in preparation for a shed.

    Yellow head

Beardies can change color over time getting more or less colorful. It’s cute that’s it’s just her head getting yellow! Definitely not yellow fungus. Yellow fungus grows asymmetrically, is often thick, and effects the texture of the scales.

my beardie's scales are getting darker...

She is adjusting her body to absorb more heat by getting darker. You will probably observe that she puffs up, or flattens out to increase surface area as well!

    Poop problems

We have the same situation with one of our dragons (Aramis). We give him a bath every Sunday so he poops. As long as the poop is solid and well-formed we don't worry about it. My thought is it has to do with activity. Our other dragon (Athos) has free roam of our first floor all the time. He is...

    Overweight male

Try hand feeding the greens and it sucks but hold out on protein for a couple of days. She'll need to eat that salad before you cave and give her bugs. Switching up the color veggies should help too, and I'd toss a couple of dusted worms - but not a whole meal's worth- in the salad to get her...

    Baby Beardie Not Eating

As long as you keep a close eye on humidity levels in your enclosure you don’t need to worry about overbathing. Every days is a lot, and really isn’t necessary.

    Tail wagging

A few of my beardies wag their tails. One of them does it regularly when he is stalking something - it is adorable but also, on this particular beardie, indicates aggression.

    Won’t eat from dish?

I would try a different bowl, Hand feeding is fine, but I have found that it should be more of a novelty & only done periodically.

He won’t eat bugs in the morning!

I use collard greens, mustard greens, and yellow squash. She finishes her salad every day and seems content and healthy.

    Juvenile Beardie

My beardy refused to eat greens when I first got him. He actually went on a hunger strike for a few days upon arrival but then only ate protein. I tried to offer greens but he'd ignore them. I tried a few tactics but the one that worked for me was indeed superworms in salad with the salad...

    4-5 month old Beardie diet???

I normally go by this feeding guide.. Do note the 10-20 bugs a feeding is a minimum, most do how many bugs they will eat in a 10-15 minute time frame which would be preferred. All life stages eat 10-20 bugs a feeding. 1-4 months 3x a day. 4-12 months 2x a day. 12-20 months once a day. 20+...
