Hyper Dragon with lots of watery stools

Yeah, I haven't seen any sort of digging behavior. She just runs around in her tank and surfs the glass. I didn't think she brumated yet, since she was lounging outside her hide. She has had something like this before, but it lasted only a few days. And thanks for the little tip about not...

Hyper Dragon with lots of watery stools

Hi, I've had my bearded dragon, Waffles, for about a year and three months now. She was young when I got her so she's probably about a year and 4 or 5 months old. For the last 2 weeks she's been a lot more active than normal. She runs around her tank and glass surfs. Normally she isn't that...

    Friend got her first beardie

Thank you. I knew going in the chance of him thriving wasn't great, but at least he got a comfy home.

Update: my little guy passed away :( he wasn't eating the last 24-36 hours and I just got home to him dead. He was lying down but when I went to pick him up and he didn't move, I knew he was gone. But I have everything I need for the next one, and thanks to you guys I know some more stuff on...

    Friend got her first beardie

The other dragons at the store seemed to be doing fine. In fact the whole reason he was moved was because they thought he had a lame foot and wanted him to be alone so he didn't have to compete for food. The other dragons are always alert and stuff, and he had moments where he perked up. I just...

Well even at the store with the dark light, he was always asleep.

    Friend got her first beardie

I guess one last weird question is, how could I tell if my beardie is for some reason brumunating since he always seems to be "asleep"? He will have bursts of energy during my feeding or bathing of him, and usually shortly after putting him back in his tank. I just can't tell why he's been so...

Really? Okay that's good, I thought it had to be in the 30-50 range. What's too much humidity for a beardie then?

    Friend got her first beardie

So I've fed him the crickets, I couldn't find the worms at our store because we were out of them for now. He has been pooping more now (one last night, one this morning) so now I think the lass thing I need to fix is humidity. I don't have a digital humidity measure, jus the stick on for it...

    Friend got her first beardie

That was going to be my first question XD. But I'm wanting something I can leave in his tank while I'm gone to munch on. I still have veggies in there but he doesn't seem to care for them.

Okay. That'll do for this morning since I have work again. And what worms should I get for him again? Since the mealworms are a no go.

I will later. I actually think I need to buy more because the small ones I had seem to have grown too big in the last few days (wasn't expecting them to grow so fast) so I need to buy more and find a way to get rid of the larger ones without them getting into my house.

How many crickets total? He is so small and I have no idea how big his belly is so I don't want to overfeed him and make him sick, especially since he hasn't been eating a lot before.

That's kinda what I did, I had a cricket in tongs and opened his mouth and plopped it in his mouth. He chewed and ate it So idk why he just isn't feeling like hunting them in a bowl. (I don't put them in his tank, learned real fast it's a pain to get them out).

I'll take the mealworms out then. I've been using the new digital thermometer to test out the temps in different spots. At the top is really hot but his perch has multiple levels. If he gets too hot I'll go back and swap the 100 watt for a 75 watt. I didn't know how strong I should have gotten...

He has crickets too, but hasn't eaten any. But I was just now able to force feed him a cricket. Once his mouth was opened I put one in dusted with calcium powder and he ate it once it was in his mouth. I keep hearing mixed things on mealworms though.

Just got back home. Looks like the little guy ate 2 mealworms (there was 8, now only 6) but he still has not yet pooped. I just used my kitchen digital thermometer and his perching area is way too cold for him, so I will try to find a new bulb in the morning with uvb instead of uva hopefully.

    Friend got her first beardie

Sorry, I just got on lunch. I don't just have the red one, I have a daylight one, too. I think my third post said what type they are. I have a probe thermometer that I've used to cook with before, would that be adequate enough to take temps in the terrarium (with cleaning of course)? That is...

It's a bulb, the night one is a 50w infrared from exo terra, the day bulb is a 60w daytime heat lamp from exoterra. I have a thermometer on the cooler side of the tank and that's where I'm reading the temp from. I don't have a second one for the basking side yet
