Today I noticed that my bearded dragon's tail is slightly different colored near the end. He is also still shedding a piece of his tail closer to the base. I was wondering if the end had something wrong with it.

Update: I have removed the sand, recleaned his tank, and I'm going to put a green felt mat (I don't know what it is called. The previous owner had it in the tank) but for now I am using paper towels. Thank you again for the responses.

I just got a 3 year old male beardie from a friend. I'm pretty sure he has just been fed pellets and I know he wasn't held or pet much at all. I just got some live crickets and superworms for him to eat. What vegetables should I feed him though? He is pretty big so how often should I feed him?
