    help with basking spot

No it's not a stick on glass one, but it does not have a probe either I could not find one like that when I was there. Is there something I could lay over the branch to reduce the surface heat until I can find him a better basking platform?

    help with basking spot

I use a thermometer from Walmart that gauges temperature and humidity. His temperatures on the basking spot range from 100-110 throughout the day. I'm thinking it may be the material it's made of.

    help with basking spot

Hello, I have a 4-5 month old beardie and all has been going well but as the temperatures have dropped I have needed to get him a higher wattage basking bulb. His temperatures are fine but I fear that his basking spot may be too hot and burning him. I got him one of those fake branches and...

    early brumation?

Okay then I do not have a ceramic heat emitter, I use a night heat lamp. I have a 150 watt repti basking spot lamp from zoo med and a 10.0 reptisun uvb bulb. Here are pictures of his setup and him. Also the temperature is lower than it's ever been right now and I'm not sure how to fix that other...

    early brumation?

Hi, my house gets pretty cold at night, somewhere in the low 60's maybe even high 50's, so I do use a night heat bulb that is around 75 watts I believe (I will check all this info when I get home today). Usually with the heating bulb i manage to keep the temperature in the low 60's in his tank...

If there is anything else that would be helpful for you to know to figure out what is wrong I'm happy to give information, just let me know what you need to know. He hasn't moved since he made his way to the warmer side.

    early brumation?

Since posting my original question he has slowly made his way to the warmer side of his tank, but if you still think a picture would help I'm happy to take one.

    early brumation?

Hi, I've had my Bearded Dragon for about 3-4 months and he was a baby when I bought him. He has been doing fine so far but these past two days he has been very slow to wake up and eat. This morning I found him curled up in the corner of the cool side of his tank. After 30 or so minutes of his...

    Bearded Dragon standing up?

I have been looking up reasons why my Beardie might be Standing on his/her hind legs but so far everything I've seen says they are sleeping or leaning against the glass. Piff, my dragon, is doing neither of those things. He/she is just finding things to put their front legs on and standing up...

Thank you very much, I wanted to make sure he was okay and that does look very similar to how he was shedding. Thanks again

    pale beardie

I am a new Bearded Dragon owner and I have only had Piff for about a month. When I first bought him he had some orange burst on him. Since I have had him he has shed his tail and head. Recently his back started to get pale, and I know that can mean he is going to shed but I was wondering if this...

    Sleeping on basking spot?

My new bearded dragon Piff has only been in his home for just over 3 weeks and for the first 2 weeks when I turned off his lights he would snuggle between the wall and the tiling I have for his substrate to sleep. Then I got him a vine to climb on to get closer to the light (I get paid this week...
