Growing the Phoenix Worm (my experience)

I bought these guys from Phoenix Worms... But I have no plans of breeding, I live in an apartment sooo not a whole lot of room to do much of anything unfortunately. But with doing this, Floyd won't plow through the 1000 I bought. Hell he could just eat and eat the "medium" size worms I ordered...

    Glass Surfing, But Jumping????

Well he doesn't have any type of hide yet just so he can easily get crickets. I believe he wants a hide due to the fact he went right under the banket I was using once he was done exploring.

Brand new to owning a Bearded Dragon

best thing to do is keep everything simple, she needs to adjust, you need temps at 105-110 degrees hot side and 80 on the cold, young dragons do better with more heat then at a year drop the hot side to 100-105. i wouldn't give her baths, just mist with HOT water 30min after lights on and 2 1/2...

    Reptisun light question.

good to change every 6mo, but if you have a solar meter that can accurately detect UVB then i would say when it is only putting out ~70% and the bulbs actually drop to that around 3-4 months depending on how long they stay on per day.

    Glass Surfing, But Jumping????

ya I am kinda excited for the tamer days though lol he likes watching Netflix with me so I am happy. but will defiantly pull him out more to roam about. his cage is pretty bare and just the basics so he could adjust easier so i figure its time to get him a little more setup so he can stay...

A few questions for someone whos looking to get a beardie

i feed my guy 20 Phoenix worms per day with about 10-20 crickets, he munches on the worms as he pleases, but he doesn't always eat all 20 so i throw some out. most i have tossed out is 6 one day. i toss out any thing he doesn't eat so there is no chance of disease spread. on the worms i bough...

Price of a basic vet visit?

I wish vet care would catch on with humans to be honest... cause I tell you what, the population of people would dramatically decline. my GF is a vet tech and to see how cheap people will try to be with their animals vet bills is so sad.

    socializing while shedding??

personal thoughts on keeping stress to a minimum... from what i have read, juvenile dragons are best in a simple environment. meaning just something to bask on, water bowl, and a food dish. nothing more is needed. because this makes finding crickets easy to find and easy to monitor his...
