PLEASE HELP - 9yr old dragon-black beard, puke, constipation

I'm so devastated today. Of course I had to google kidney failure and it looks like it might have been treatable. I had asked the vet and the vet had said that this was not treatable, just something to prolong. Is that true? Or could I have saved her? Did I do the right thing? She was black...

PLEASE HELP - 9yr old dragon-black beard, puke, constipation

Substrate is shelf liner. I gave her some gentle syringes of pedialyte and plain pumpkin baby food (not much of that) . I will try a warm bath today as well. Still waiting for a call from the vet, but at the very latest she goes in at 3. Thank you!

PLEASE HELP - 9yr old dragon-black beard, puke, constipation

Thanks for your input! No egg binding issues in the past. She's very very lethargic this morning. Extremely bloated, black bearding. She has been regular with eating/drinking/pooping until yesterday with the vomiting episode, so with the bloating I'm worrying about an organ failure...is that a...

PLEASE HELP - 9yr old dragon-black beard, puke, constipation

Hi everyone! Having some issues with my beardie, Marley. She is almost 10 years old. Earlier today she threw up a few solid superworms - she was near her water dish, so she might have just been drinking too much (sometimes when she drinks too much or too fast she pukes a little clear liquid)...

Possible fungus??Or something? Puke/runny stool too??

Thanks for the quick response :) She's almost 9 years old so every time she has a little problem I tend to react maybe a bit too quickly :study: It is possible she had some water, she was in a little tub soaking near me while I cleaned up her cage but i wasn't watching her extremely carefully...

Possible fungus??Or something? Puke/runny stool too??

Hi! My bearded dragon Marley had a fungal infection a few years back - I remember I gave her some baths in water/betadine and applied anti fungal cream and it healed up with time. It was sometimes so slightly discolored but nothing too noticeable. The other day I noticed it looked like it was...

Bearded dragon ate glass, please help!!!

Update!!! She passed a BM, not as large as usual and kind of an odd color/texture , might be the pumpkin. I poked through it and found the glass shard so she passed it safely!! And her bowels are starting to move!! Yayyyyy!

    Very small BMs, throwing up

Spoke with her vet this morning, she doesnt seem to think anything is terribly wrong. She told me to resume feeding as usual and continue with the warm soaks and offering the dig box when she starts digging around her enclosure. She suggested holding a flashlight up to her back to see if I can...

Bearded dragon ate glass, please help!!!

Good point. The vet returned my call this morning and said to keep on with soaks and offer more food, and if she hasn't pooped by late next week to bring her in. The vet doesn't seem to think anything is terribly wrong with her, and she told me she things the glass she ate (if she ate any)...

    Very small BMs, throwing up

I just put her back in her enclosure from the lay box I made and offered her 2 superworms and she snatched em right up. Now she's toddling around as usual. That flashlight trick is really cool! I used it to double check and did not see the two dark spots that would indicate that she is actually...
