While most beardies love crickets, they, like us, can be picky and stubborn at times, and it is not uncommon for them to turn suddenly. As for buying dubias - I have always found sellers on eBay, as they had the lowest prices, lots of free shipping, and usually quick shipping.

I am so confused. About a year ago, while doing all my beardie research, everyone said to use calcium with D3 in it. Now I'm reading everywhere that the D3 can harm my beardie?! What's the truth with this?

I know optimal range for the t5 is about 12". In my cage though, the highest I can get it is 9". Will this be okay, or should I just stick with the t8?
