    UNRESPONSIVE BEARDIE PLEASE HELP ASAP

She suggested a biopsy, but it didn't seem like she thought removal would be something that would be worth it, though it is an option. It is fairly large, apparently (I saw a photo, but I don't really have any reference to make my own judgement!) She was also not entirely sure it wasn't his...

Advice for hydrating a sick bearded dragon?

Smokey is already doing much much better! Still not 100%, but he is steadily improving :)

    UNRESPONSIVE BEARDIE PLEASE HELP ASAP

Smokey is doing so much better already. Since yesterday he has been acting almost normal again (still a bit tired, but alert and holding himself up). I am considering a biopsy but if it doesn’t seem to be impacting him, I’d like to avoid that additional cost, as the visit the other day was...

Advice for hydrating a sick bearded dragon?

Not necessarily, while I would say a bulk of his water comes from his greens and direct water drinking is usually from baths, I have given him water like you're describing. I'm just a bit paranoid and wasn't sure if I should do anything differently since he aspirated so recently. I want to make...

Advice for hydrating a sick bearded dragon?

Hello, My bearded dragon is recovering from aspirating water last night (I've already had a vet visit & posted a thread about this!) but he is still quite dehydrated. He's on Carnivore Care as well as Baytril and Flagyl and I'm looking for advice on how to give him water, as baths are out of...

    UNRESPONSIVE BEARDIE PLEASE HELP ASAP

Ok, update time. I took him to the vet this morning, and she said she could hear a slight rattle in his right lung, but nothing awful. He's on Bayrtil and Flagyl for 10 days and has Carnivore Care as well, since he is still very tired and not interested in eating on his own. He's not a big fan...

    UNRESPONSIVE BEARDIE PLEASE HELP ASAP

Of course, I will post again tomorrow after the vet visit to update. For now, he is laying on his basking log with a hand towel propping him at a downwards angle. He is minorly responsive and keeping his eyes closed & mouth open. His breathing actually looks much better and I will keep the CHE...

    UNRESPONSIVE BEARDIE PLEASE HELP ASAP

I gave my beardie, Smokey, a bath earlier today. He drank what was probably a lot of water now that I think about it but otherwise seemed fine. Now he is unresponsive. His mouth is open and his eyes are closed. When I picked him up a lot of water came out of his mouth. He is still breathing, and...

    Impaction - Advice Please!!!

Good news!! Smokey finally pooped today! However, I want to prevent something like this from happening again. I went through his poop (gross, but needed) to try to find the source. The actual poop was all very soft, but the urate was HUGE and hard. I am fairly confident it was what I was feeling...

    Impaction - Advice Please!!!

Thank you for your help! I did notice in his bath today that he has some stress marks on his tummy - is it worth keeping up the baths if they stress him out, or should I reduce how often I do them? Right now I've been giving him one daily.

    Impaction - Advice Please!!!

It is also worth mentioning, I believe, that he has passed urates twice now, with no poop - a little bit of liquid with them is all.

    Impaction - Advice Please!!!

My beardie, Smokey, is most likely suffering from impaction. He has always had a sensitive digestive system, and been prone to constipation, but generally a warm bath will do the trick. He has not pooped in about a month now, and yesterday in one of his baths while massaging his stomach I...
