I want to know the pros and cons of each and which you prefer :)

Are these grey scales retained shed or did his scales fall off in these areas? I'm not sure what bearded dragon wounds/scales that fell off look like. So if the grey spots are wounds/scales that fell off what should I do? Thanks in advance!
