Dark spot on vent area - HELP

Yoda is doing great. Still wont eat crickets - so I have given up on them for now. He still eats his butterworms and will occasionally eat the greens I give him everyday. He has been through his first shed already :) I do have a question about bugs. We live on a farm and have no small shortage...

My version of the Crossfire enclosure

I like the hammock idea and want to do that some time. I could reverse the position of the log and that would get him a few inches closer if he wanted to be. Thanks Taterbug for all the help these past few days. I appreciate all your knowledge.

My version of the Crossfire enclosure

The only solid pine in this project were the two boards used for the doors. The rest is all plywood. Some plywood is made with pine, some is oak veneered, other is made with balsa wood. I was told that pine is not good for dragons. But this wood is all stained and then sealed with Bullzeye's...

Thanks - I used that list before I even got him. And it said Kale was a staple. Guess I am confused there. I knew about waxworms - and I don't use them - no one sells them around here anyway.

I cooled the crickets (hehehehe) but he still didn't seem interested. He did eat better today though so that makes me feel better.

Dark spot on vent area - HELP

The spot is lightening up today. And he is eating better. We have only had him 11 days so he is still adjusting, but I don't like the fact that he wasn't eating much. BUT I have noticed he is eating when I'm not looking. Ornery lizard anyway. He did eat his worm at lunch and is eating kale...

I tried cooling the crickets (rather funny actually). And I put him in a separate container with a few and he didn't eat any. I picked up some fruit gel food for him today and he ate some of that. Still liking his bath time. And I've noticed him sitting in his water dish more often.

I am having the same problem with Yoda. We have had it for a week and he is only 5 inches long. I am thinking he was sold to me too young. He is not eating much and I noticed this morning his poop is now light green instead of black. I offer him fresh greens several times a day. And I offer him...

Dark spot on vent area - HELP

used some warm water and a q-tip to wash him - and it didn't clear up. Let him soak in some warm water and the color faded a bit - but is now back to the picture color again.

HELP! Just saw this dark spot on his underside - don't think it was there yesterday. Is the dragon just dirty or is something wrong?

    Meet Yoda

Thanks everyone. I knew about the worms. Didn't eat any today - yet. He did get a new cricket though, that was nice to see. I did not know you're not supposed to leave them in the cage with him. This could be an issue. As the little buggers like to hide in the holes in the underside of the...

    Meet Yoda

The name isn't very original but the kids picked it. We have had him a week and he is about a month old. So I offer him kale, squash, crickets, butterworms twice a day. It doesn't touch the kale or squash much. I cut up all the food so that it is smaller than his head. I want to make sure...
