I am using ReptiCalcium with D3 by zoomed.

My 6 month old has completely stopped eating dusted crickets. He eats a ton of crickets when they arent dusted. I dust the salad everyday now because he wont he eat the dusted crickets. I just don’t know what to do anymore. He needs his calcium. Any recommendations?

Yea i was thinking of trying dubias and Pheonix worms. Especially the worms because I heard it’s a good source of calcium and theres no need to dust them. Have you heard of that? Is that true?

He ate about 13 crickets today and some greens. The guy we bought him from feeds him greens in the morning and crickets in the afternoon, so we’ve been following that schedule. Hes resposive, alert, never sluggish. Head always up. Very active. Im not really worried. His temp is always at 100.

Does anyone else have a lazy Beardie? Whenever I feed mine, he goes for one or two crickets, then sits and waits for them to pass by his face. And if they don’t pass by, he eats one or two pieces of mustard greens, and then goes back up to his basking spot. He is 6 months. So maybe hes slowly...

Seeing as no one has answered back, I thought Id say that I gave him a bath and scrubbed him with a tooth brush. I haven’t seen it come back yet. Im going to just have to force him a bath.

Hello, so today I noticed that my beardie has a green scale on his back. Hes mostly orange, so it was real easy to see it. Its one or two scales on his back. Should I be worried? Ugh! Petsmart! I dont understand why they do that. Oh it gets me so upset. It’s not fair to these beautiful creatures!

Ohhhh. Wow I didnt know that. Very interesting. Yes, he is a great eater! I think I also forgot to mention that hes shedding. So he could be moody over that. And basking light is warm enough, and UVB (mine is a tube) is about 6 inches away from him.

So I bought a new beardie and it always looks like he has stress lines. Idk if maybe thats how his skin is, but even under the basking light I can see the lines. Is that normal? I just got him 4 days ago, so maybe he is still getting use to his new tank. Theres nothing really wrong with him...

Yea he was getting really bad :( but next time I am going to do my research and get one from a good breeder. Im lookin for breeders in my area. I heard thats how they are with their leopard geckos too unfortunately.

I had to take it back to petsmart :( . It was just getting worse and worse. I called Petsmart corporate and complained. Now Im looking for breeders in my neck of the woods. rluper, Ill sign that petition!
