    Stiffness, won’t eat?

Yes please post a picture of the setup, and include the specs on the UVB bulb as well. You didn't mention a UVB light, only heat lights, and UVB lights are critical to a bearded dragon's health. Are these variety of bugs coming from outside? They could have insecticides on them. Many...

    Please Help

You said he's puffing up his beard and opening his mouth wide, can you take a video of this and link us to it? Putting it on imgur or youtube would probably be easiest to link us to. I doubt I'm right, but I want to be very sure that he isn't just gaping or even being defensive/scared for some...

    Kinda specific UVB Lighting questions

So for our vis which are going to be a little more than a 40g breeder, a 24" T5 will probably do then? Probably no need for a 36" if you manage with 24" in your 120g right?

    Kinda specific UVB Lighting questions

The basking spot will be moveable, I'll just have to re-screw in the porcelain fixture as necessary, and the old holes I can cover with small circular stickers that cover them. You won't really be able to see the light fixture or holes anyway with the way I'm building it. I'll go with the 36inch...

    Kinda specific UVB Lighting questions

So I don't currently have a beardie as my last passed on 5ish years ago, after I had him for 4 years (He was 8 years old not 4, I took him off someone's hands who didn't really take care of him). I'm planning on getting 2 more soon, since recently I learned my wife is fascinated with them when I...

    Please Help

Yeah a log or rock will do or the hammock you aready have. You can get one from outside if you want, just make sure you know the type of wood and check if its toxic (I think only redwood and cedar are but I'm not sure, I'd google it). Also, wash the wood or rock with soap and water, then bake it...

    Please Help

No, the zip ties won't hurt. I highly recommend you also address the other problems I mentioned (food type, humidity, basking temp, and hydration). The basking spot where he will be spending a lot if not most of his time needs to be closer to the bulb, and the temperature properly measured...

    Beard has red on sides?

Definitely gonna need a better picture, even from above or from the sides would be better if he won't let you hold him easily. Yellow fungus tends to be pretty yellow, not red. He looks very young, could just be growing funny depending on his color. Like I said, we'll need a better picture.

    Please Help

Visserion, I think you might be misunderstanding something crucial if I'm reading correctly. The white/long-tube UVB bulb produces no heat, it provides radiation. The basking spot people are talking about is under the OTHER bulb, that one that produces the heat. (EDIT: he also need's to be...

    Lazy dragon?

His temps are around 103 for his basking temp, as he likes it hotter. His ambient temp for the warm side is around 85, and the cool side is 75. Measured by infrared temp gun 2inches away, and his UVB is an 18inch 10.0 Reptisun UVB that is 7inches from his basking spot. I believe all that is...

    Lazy dragon?

I have had my bearded dragon for almost a year now, when i first got him ( he was a rescue, missing a foot, but still very mobile) he was very active and would run a lot and explore, lick everything, head bob, everything a hyperactive dragon would do. But now, a year later, he is 3 years...

    Is it big enough?

    I thought it was bigger than a 40breeder? I thought a 40breeder was 36x18x18 I have a 36x20x18 (custom wooden tank) and is a 40breeder big enough?

    Is it big enough?

I have a bearded dragon that is 13inches long(he has a nipped tail-was a rescue-so he SHOULD be 14inches) He is done growing, he hasnt gotten any larger in the year ive had him. (dont worry i have done a ton of research to find the right diet for him so if he seems small..) But to get to the...

Please help, hungry beardie with breathing issues?

He ate ALL of the mound of greens i left him while i was at work today. I got home and there was a huge bowel movement that looked to be a huge wad of papertowels and greens, and a large urate. Why was there a large urate if he hadnt been bathed in a few days? I got some unsweetened applesauce...

Please help, hungry beardie with breathing issues?

Ok so i went on a trip this last weekend, and left my sister in charge of my beardie (she has before and done a good job of feeding/bathing etc) and apparently she forgot i left and didnt feed him for 5 DAYS. So i got home, he saw me and ran to his food bowl and sat in it. I assumed he was...

How to chop up/serve collard/mustard greens easily?

As the title states, i would love to know a quick and easy way to chop up and serve collard/mustard greens quickly and easily? Every day i have to make sure he doesnt get any big stems, or too big of pieces. Its kind of a pain. P.s i get organic greens that come in bundles of large leaves.

    Lifeless Lily...

May i also suggest that the 20gallon long is a bit too small? Our dragon was in a 20gal long and wasnt improving but when i got him a new tank he spiked up in weight and activity.

Unknown problem, and aggression after vet

Well i hate to ask after you stated not to, but we need to know what bulbs you have, temps, and how you are measuring them. It sounds like it could possibly be brumation but we need the setup to be sure. here is a website to find vets certified for reptiles (www.herpvetconnection.com) what are...
