Hey, My beardie seems to be going into brumation by what I've read. He's lazy, sleeping more during day, not too interested in food, going under his hide......he's only 5 months old. My breeder said to remove the hide from enclosure because at young age could prevent him from growing properly...

Is there a light bulb to,use at night that doesn't give off any light that is not a heat emitter?? Went to pick a CHE up but they ran $35-$45!!!! Just looking for cheaper option,,,temp is running down to 66-67 degrees at night, so come winter months going to need some heat in there at night. Thanks

Hey there, our new beardie is 9 wks old and eats crickets very well along with some greens. Just curious if crickets are the only source of protein he can have? or can we mix it up a bit for some variety,,,,in Canada so Dubia roaches are out! I know he can't have certain worms (super or meal)...

Hey, we're close to buying our first beardie from a breeder and are also having a wooden enclosure built for us. It's 4x2x2 and just seeing what an ideal setup would be? I'm thinking of picking up 3 10" zoo med dome fixtures for the lighting....would these be too big to hang on the inside? Also...
