    bulbs keep burning

well i know that zilla is crap but i don't think that this is justified by their quality. maybe something else is happening. now as for household bulbs, of course they do not emit any heat, especially not heat that reptiles need. I am waiting to see how my zoomed bulbs will do

    hiding all day

So my bearded dragon (2 years old) is hiding for several hours now in the bark I have bought for him (I have also moss in there). Now, I am confused because I thought he would be energetic during daytime, or he would be basking etc. I see no reason why he would prefer a dry and dark spot...

why is my dragon always looking to the light?

He sits on his woods and he looks towards the lights. I have seen many pics of dragons doing that but I just want to know if it is safe and normal. I have a 100W basking lamp and the reptisun 10 tube not my dragons, just looks like this

    Leopard gecko heating

I know 5 people irl with geckos. 4 of them were using UTH. 3 of them saw the pads carching on fire and/or smoking like crazy! Also, the tank i have is on a wooden desk and there is no space to raise it. I just cannot afford to play with these things!

    Leopard gecko heating

I am getting as much info as i can. The same way that i changed my bulbs in my dragon's tank to prevent damage, for the same reason i am avoiding UTH and heating rocks!

    Leopard gecko heating

Well, let's face it. In the desert there is no hearing pad and all the heat comes from above. I cannot and will not use an undertank heating pad for several reasons too. Anyway, most people i know irl do not use them either.
