I was thinking of feeding my bearded dragon super worms as a staple diet as she no longer likes crickets :( . Are they healthy to give as a staple? And ive heard they turn into beetles too which im not a fan off. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Basically my babie bearded dragons tail has gone black and hard but only at the tip.also his tail seems to have slightly shrunk and the tip has gotten a bit thinner than the rest of the tail. I noticed it a day ago and was wondering what could have caused it and what is it. Any suggestions?
