    Fake rock selent problems

I am thinking that will be the last step for me to do now other than painting the exterior of the tank.. Iv'e been wanting to keep it just grout and grout only, but I am thinking a sealer may be best. How much does that Mod Podge stuff cost?

    Struggling with heat...

Would try maybe trying to close off some of the ceiling on the tank to retain heat, as obviously... heat rises... and if the lights are far away from the surface, then the heat will most likely never reach their full potential on the actual basking area. Maybe even try a towel in the basking...

    Updates to my custom tank

Started with the tank being made where I work, out of a Co-Polymer plastic welded together. Going all out on a Cage. Please make sure I do it right!

A simple rectangular enclosure would be easiest... You could do what I do if you don't want to deal with hinges and go for a ANA stand style type... Super dark, but this was when it was a fish tank(75 gallon) that is around 700lbs. lol on a stand I made over night! lol

Going all out on a Cage. Please make sure I do it right!

I was not ans still don't consider myself to be a handyman of any sort. haha But I have made fish tank stands in little as a few hours, it all comes down to planing and mapping things out. Since your budget is rather large, you could opt for using L-Brackets and those things speed things up...

Going all out on a Cage. Please make sure I do it right!

Where are you located? I don't really want to tell you how to spend your money at all.. but I can say that you could saves tons doing it yourself... or even hiring a handyman to build the tank/stand combo in one for you cheap... just saying. You can get almost everything but the feeders...
