R.I.P. Frodo. I adopted him on April 6,2014. He died early this morning. He was sick the entire time and I did the best I could do for him. I hope I gave him the best last year of his life. He will be greatly missed.

The hood sitting on top of the tanks now is about 10 inches away from the basking spot. I'm about to order some enclosures from animal plastics and was trying to find a way to mount the hood to the top.

I'm about to order my enclosures for my dragons and was having some trouble with figuring out the lighting. Right now I'm using a Reptisun 10.0 t5 light and hood and was wondering If anyone can help me figure out how to mount them to the roof of an enclosure.

Yes, a 20 gallon long will work for a couple months. You'll still need to upgrade his tank later though. If you get a 40 now he'll be fine for the rest of his life and you don't have to worry about upgrading later.

You can call your local Petco and ask them if they are running the sale. I went and got a 40 gallon yesterday and i'm going to get another one next week.

I wouldn't risk it, especially with the size difference.

What are your temps? How far away are you holding the temp gun? That's a lot of wattage for such a small tank. Him not having a UVB is probably contributing to him not wanting to eat. Can you get a smaller one to fit the tank hes in now or can you get him into a bigger tank? Hes going to...

What brand and type of UVB are you using? What are you using to measure temps?
