I know it's not wise whatsoever to have substrate at all because of possible consumption. But I feed my beardie outside of her cage so would it be okay to put something in? Cause I hate looking at nothing but paper towels. It's so ugly. Could I put in medium sized rocks by chance? Sizeable...

I had the same problem, I went to Petsmart and bought some of the decal cling for the cages and have 3 of the 4 sides covered so only the front is exposed. For the 2 months I've had it she hasnt freaked out at all.

Got my beardie Turbo a new hammock today and she loves it! She's been laying on it all day and just thought I would share since she's been somewhat lazy after a productive day yesterday(A lot of running and playing, and watching the birds outside.)

Don't use substrate. Critter-carpet, paper towels, etc. Are the best things to use, nothing loose. For plants, keep them in little pots, cups, containers and water them or mist them when needed.

She ate about a dozen this morning. And yea she shed on her face, the underside of it and around her mouth. I offered her some crickets this morning and she ate them right away. Probably just full yesterday from the days before.
