I'd worry more about stinging the inside of the mouth or the throat more than anything. You would've seen a reaction by now if that was the case, so you are most likely in the clear.

If you take some clear pics of the backside, holding the tail up about 90 degrees we should be able to tell. Just be careful not to hurt him holding up the tail, and don't turn him upside down to do this. We need a pic of the area just above the vent on the tail. :D

Tails get thinner as you get to the tip, so they can't fit as many rows of scales. The scales sometimes don't line up perfectly close to the tip due to this. Nothing to worry about! :D :blob5:

Yep, clear nails mean hypo. And I agree, the coloring and purple bars remind me of a citrus. Actually, he looks like my Socrates, who was sold to me as a "normal" but is growing into a beautiful citrus with gorgeous purple bars! Congrats!

Hoping the tank change, temp change, and baths help! It is very difficult to get a good temperature gradient in a small tank, so the larger tank will definitely help in that area. Keeping our fingers and beardie toes crossed for you!

Amazon has Sunbeam brand human heating pads that do not have auto shut off. I got one 2 months ago and it works great! I keep it on low, and no worries about melting the bin.

I don't know about scentsy, but I had my previous beardie live to the ripe old age of 10 with a glade or febreeze plug in always on in his room. But its the dining room, so its open and it never got overpowering. I don't think I'd risk it in a small, closed room like a bedroom.
