Got the results of the fecal teset. Coccidia and pinworms. The vet prescribed panacur, once a week for 4 weeks, and albon every day for a week, take 2 week break, and then another week.

And I'll definitely post what I find out tomorrow at the vet. Glad to hear papa smurf is doing well. If he's already that active he'll hopefully have a long healthy life ahead of him.

Well I swapped down to a smaller bulb so the basking spot is at 103. I also made an appointment for with the vet tomorrow morning so hopefully we can get it all figured out. Thanks for the advice! And I had actually read your story about papa smurf awhile back, hope he's doing well.

I meant that feeders from petco could carry parasites. I'll look into getting a fecal done. Or are there any medications I could try first to avoid paying a huge fee?

I've been using a cheap digital thermometer from petco. She tends to sit near the basking spot but not directly under it so I wasn't too worried about the temps, but I'll off water more frequently to prevent dehydration. Do you think it's possible the crickets from petco carried parasites?
