My beardie hates baths as well. She does quite similar to what you describe. But yet I still give her baths, for both moisture ans she can get dirty and needs to be cleaned. She may give me the death stare during the bath, but when she is done she snuggles back to me and seems refreshed. If...

never leave crickets in the tank too long! they will bite up your baby in their sleep. after 15 minutes after feeding the crickets, take out the extra crickets from the tank. they can climb, and i doubt he would have been scared, maybe he is just a shy guy

yeah, fleece works perfectly, but be warned, you may want a spare blanket in case your beardie soils it and it needs to go through the wash

Give him time to get to know you. Oh and about the baths, if he gets too smelly or dirty, I find a tiny bit of tear-less baby shampoo does the trick. (Thanks to this website i found that out :) ) My beardie loves jumping on the bubbles and almost forgets how much she hates baths... almost...

Don't worry, your beardies may eat you dry when they are young, but now that mine is a couple years old she has gone to eating more veggies than crickets, because she is growing less and is not in need of the constant protein. I spend WAY less on crickets now. And the best part is, she loves...

Heating Issue: you know those pads that hunters put in their gloves and boots in the winter? Well wrap it in fleece so it is not too hot and put it by the beardie. Mine loves it and it is easier than having the basking lamp.

no need but if it is chilly i wrap those hunting hand warmers in fleece and put my beardie on it. everyone loves her i swear on each trip she gets 100s of pics. everyone loves her. she was the biggest attraction at a fair we went to. it was soo cute. the little kids love her

heck i do it all the time. go to petco and buy a ferret travel case, and then sneak into the hotel. bring papeer towel and meal worms work well to take with. mine loves to bask on the dash. get a leash.

i saw dried birrd feed which was dried meal worms, could i feed it to my beardie?

mine slowed down at a year and was 16 inches, and now at age three she is 17, so i assume around a year to a year and a half as the declining in speed of growth
